Job Summary:

As an Aesthetic Medical Assistant at Park Aesthetics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. You'll assist our providers with various tasks including taking vital signs, recording patient history, and educating patients on our cosmetic services. You will also help in preselling treatments, managing inventory, prepping treatment rooms, and scheduling appointments. Your goal is to ensure every patient leaves our clinic feeling confident and revitalized.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a medical office, ideally within plastic surgery or aesthetic practices.

Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Patient Escort and Initial Assessment: Escort patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Record vital signs and update medication/skincare regimen as necessary. Set up exam rooms for scheduled procedures or anticipate needs for unscheduled treatments.
  • Cosmetic Services Preselling: Assist the provider with educating patients on cosmetic product indications, typical uses, and cost ranges.
  • Provider Support: Prepare products and all necessary patient information before the provider enters the exam room.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients post-treatment plan establishment, ensuring they understand the plan, medication/products use, and compliance responsibilities.
  • Photo Documentation: Take high-quality photos using an iPad or camera for patient records.
  • Exam Room Maintenance: Clean and sterilize exam rooms after patient visits. Escort patients to check-out to ensure compliance and scheduling of follow-up treatments.

Secondary Duties:

  • Inventory Management: Stock exam rooms and manage medical instrument cleaning and sterilization. Notify clinical staff of supply needs to avoid shortages.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as needed to support the clinic.
